Reliable and consistent

This was my third purchase from Monkee Tree; I've been slowly expanding my cat's play area. This time, I got a few more Cat Tree Trunk Sections and a Feeding Platform. Just like my previous orders, everything arrived well-packaged and on time. The parts always fit perfectly with the existing structure, which I appreciate. The consistency in quality is why I keep coming back. It's comforting to know I'll get the same sturdy, well-made product every time.

Solid product, fast shipping

Bought the Outdoor Cat Tree. It's very sturdy and my cat uses it daily. Shipping was quicker than I expected. Easy to put together.

Good quality, easy to expand

I ordered the Free Standing Cat Tree starter set and a couple of extra Cat Perches. The ordering process was smooth, and it took about 7 days to get to me in California from New Zealand, which wasn't bad. Assembly was straightforward with the included kit. The quality of the materials is solid, feels really durable, not flimsy like some others. My 10kg cat, Misha, climbs all over it without any wobbling. I actually emailed support once about adding a Wall Mounted section later, and they replied within a day with clear instructions. It's great that I can just add more parts as Misha grows or if I get another cat.

My cats love it!

I got the Indoor Cat Tree and my two cats, Luna and Oliver, are obsessed! They're always climbing and napping on the Cat Hammock. It's super sturdy and looks great in my living room. I'm so happy I finally got one. Will definitely shop here again!

Thinking of putting one of these outside on my patio for my indoor/outdoor cat. Is it actually okay for weather, or will it get ruined pretty quick?

P Paula 1 month ago

Mine's been outside for months, rain and sun, still looks great. It's definitely made for it.

R Rachel Hughes 1 month ago

Yeah, I have one on my deck and it's held up through a whole winter. Just wipe it down sometimes if it gets dirty.

Hey, looking at getting one of these modular trees. I've got two pretty chonky cats, like 10-11kg each. will this thing actually hold up or is it gonna wobble?

T Tom 2 months ago

Mine's super sturdy. I have a 12kg ragdoll and it doesn't budge even when he launches himself at it. They're built tough.

M Mike 2 months ago

Yeah, I think the branches are rated for up to 12kg each, so two big cats should be fine as long as they're not both on the same small branch at the same time.

wondering about a first time buyer discount for Monkee Tree? or any kind of promo code I can use?

B Ben 1 month ago

They don't really do promo codes much, I think. mostly bundles or seasonal sales.

I Ivy Patel 1 month ago

Nah, never found a first-time code. Best bet is usually their starter kits or a holiday sale.

Does anyone know if they ship from the US or if it's coming all the way from New Zealand? Just wondering about delivery times to California.

K Kevin H. 2 months ago

Pretty sure they ship from New Zealand. Mine took a little while to get to me in Texas, maybe like 10 days?

R Rachel Brooks 2 months ago

I'm in Oregon and mine came from NZ. Took about a week and a half for me. Came pretty quick considering the distance.

Is there a trick to getting free shipping? The cost is kinda high for a bigger order.

E Emma K. 2 months ago

I think you get free shipping on larger orders, but I'm not sure what the exact minimum is. I hit it with a full setup for two cats.

C Carly M. 2 months ago

My big order qualified for free shipping, it was a pretty substantial one though. worth checking out their site for details.

Does Monkee Tree do a Black Friday sale? Or should I just buy it now?

R Renee F. 1 month ago

They usually do! I got some extra parts during their Black Friday last year, it was a decent discount.

D David 1 month ago

Yeah, Black Friday is one of their bigger sales events. Worth waiting if you can.

Can I add stuff to this later on? Like if I just buy a base kit now and want to make it taller or add more branches in a few months?

G Gwen Torres 1 month ago

Yep, that's the whole point! I started with a small one and added like three more levels and a hammock later. Super easy.

J Jared H. 1 month ago

Definitely! All the parts are designed to be added or swapped out. You can build it up over time.

how does this compare to like, tuft + paw? i know those are super expensive but trying to figure out if this is similar quality or more budget.

C Cleo R. 2 months ago

I'd say Monkee Tree is more about function and modularity. Tuft + Paw is more design-focused, I think. Quality on Monkee Tree is solid though, very durable.

S Shane Q. 2 months ago

Different vibes. Tuft + Paw is very 'furniture art.' Monkee Tree is like, serious cat climbing system. Super tough and you can add to it forever.
